Position: Intern (Digital Communications)
Eligibility:
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate programme (completed at least 2 years).
- Currently enrolled in a graduate programme.
- Recent graduate (within 6 months prior to application).
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, or related fields.
- Must have attended classes within the past 12 months.
- Fluency in English and Amharic.
- Fit to travel and work at the duty station.
- Cannot be immediate family members of WFP employees.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Lightroom, Canva, MS Office.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative digital communication solutions.
- Knowledge of WFP communication techniques and socio‑political context.
- Ability to work independently and in diverse teams.
- Flexibility to accept assignments outside normal duties.
Competencies:
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships across cultures.
