Job Purpose
The Construction Project Coordinator will manage design and construction-related projects, including:

Following up on design works with architects.

Assessing situations and gathering information.

Coordinating with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to resolve project issues.

Ensuring compliance with construction regulations and company policies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain close communication with architects to ensure timely submission of design documentation.

Conduct regular site visits and monitor work progress.
-
Follow up on municipal approvals and expedite responses to regulatory requirements.

Analyze construction site incidents and review documentation such as blueprints, contracts, and safety reports.

Prepare formal reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and outcomes.

Ensure adherence to construction laws, safety regulations, and internal policies.

Collaborate with team members and stakeholders for effective project management.

Maintain accurate records of all project-related information.
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related fields.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction contract administration, quantity surveying, or project management.

Experience with Ethiopian construction contracts, government procurement guidelines, and civil law regulations is highly desirable.

Experience with banking or commercial building projects is an advantage.
Required Skills and Competencies

Strong understanding of construction contract law and procurement practices.

Excellent organizational and document management skills.

Proficient in MS Office; experience with project or contract management software is a plus.
