Abay Bank S.C. has announced job vacancies for qualified candidates for Administrative Assistant and Branch Manager positions in Addis Ababa, Dire Dawa District, Jigjiga, and Mersa. The vacancies are open to candidates with relevant educational qualifications and banking or administrative work experience.

Abay Bank S.C. is inviting qualified applicants to apply for four vacancies. The available positions include one Administrative Assistant role and three Branch Manager positions at Grade 1 and Grade 2 levels. Applicants must meet the stated educational and professional experience requirements and apply in person before the deadline.

1. Administrative Assistant

Location: Head Office

Educational Qualification:

• BA Degree or Diploma in Secretarial Science & Office Management or Administrative Service Management.

Work Experience:

• BA Degree holders: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Diploma holders: At least 4 years of related work experience.

2. Branch Manager – Grade 1

Location: Branches under Addis Ababa area

Educational Qualification:

• BA Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or another business-related field.

Work Experience:

• At least 6 years of work experience in banking operations.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory position.

3. Branch Manager – Grade 1

Location: Branches under Dire Dawa District, including Kulbi, Deder, Fugna Bira (East Hararge), Daruselam, and Aksa IFB (Jigjiga)

Educational Qualification:

• BA Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or another business-related field.

Work Experience:

• At least 6 years of work experience in banking operations.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory position.

Language Preference:

• For the Deder and Fugna Bira branches, speaking and writing Afan Oromo is preferable.

4. Branch Manager – Grade 2

Location: Mersa Branch

Educational Qualification:

• BA Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or another business-related field.

Work Experience:

• At least 8 years of work experience in banking operations.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory position.

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be provided according to Abay Bank's salary scale.
