Job Overview

Addis Bank is seeking qualified professionals to join its team in Addis Ababa. The following positions are available:

• Junior Graphic Designer
• Senior Interest Free Banking Officer
• Principal Interest Free Banking Officer
• Branch Manager I
• Security Guard (የጥበቃ ሠራተኛ)

All roles are full-time and based at the Head Office. Successful candidates will contribute to the Bank’s mission of delivering reliable financial solutions while ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Junior Graphic Designer

• Create and maintain consistent visual identity.
• Design graphics for campaigns, publications, and digital media.
• Support web design and development projects.

Senior Interest Free Banking Officer

• Implement IFB activities under Division Manager guidance.
• Review branch reports and monitor corrective actions.
• Verify IFB account openings and operations.

Principal Interest Free Banking Officer

• Oversee IFB operations at senior level.
• Provide guidance to officers.
• Ensure compliance with IFB policies.

Branch Manager I

• Direct and oversee branch operations.
• Approve loans, overdrafts, and transfers.
• Handle foreign exchange transactions.
• Prepare branch activity reports.

Security Guard (የጥበቃ ሠራተኛ)

• Safeguard Bank property.
• Ensure safety of staff and customers.
• Perform duties under General Services and Security Department.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Junior Graphic Designer

• Education: First Degree in Architecture, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Work Experience: Minimum 1 year as a graphic designer.
• Technical Skills: Design tools, typography, digital media.

Senior Interest Free Banking Officer

• Education: Bachelor’s in Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Work Experience: 4 years in banking, 2 years as officer.
• Technical Skills: IFB operations and reporting.

Principal Interest Free Banking Officer

• Education: Bachelor’s in Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Work Experience: 6 years in banking, 2 years in senior officer role.
• Technical Skills: Advanced IFB services knowledge.

Branch Manager I

• Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting & Finance, Banking, Management, or related fields.
• Work Experience: 7 years in banking, 2 years supervisory.
• Technical Skills: Loan approval, foreign exchange, branch management.

Security Guard (የጥበቃ ሠራተኛ)

• Education: Completion of Grade 8.
• Work Experience: 2 years in recognized institution.
