Internship Opportunity: 2026 Internship Program – Session 2

The AfDB invites applications for its 2026 Internship Program – Session 2, designed to provide graduate students with practical experience in a leading international development institution. Interns are selected competitively based on the Bank’s business needs.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be nationals of AfDB member countries.
  • Be not more than 30 years old at the start of the internship.
  • Be currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program at a recognized institution, or apply within one year of graduation.
  • Provide proof of enrollment or degree completion.
  • Be fluent in English or French (the Bank’s working languages).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access); knowledge of SAP is desirable.
