About Aggar MFI

Aggar MFI is Ethiopia’s first commercial private microfinance institution, established under Proclamation No. 40/96 (now replaced by 626/2009). It provides credit and savings services in both urban and rural areas. 1. Manager, Strategic Planning & Coordination
   • Education: MA/BA in Economics, Management, Accounting, or related fields
   • Experience: 6 years (MA) / 8 years (BA), with senior leadership background
   • Competencies: Strategic planning, coordination across District/Branch/Head Office, leadership, interpersonal communication
   • Duty Station: Head Office
2. Branch Manager
   • Education: MA/BA in Economics, Management, Accounting, or related fields
   • Experience: 3 years (MA) / 5 years (BA) in relevant banking/microfinance roles
   • Competencies: Branch operations management, financial analysis, leadership, communication skills
   • Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Wolkite
3. Senior SME Officer
   • Education: MA/BA in Economics, Management, Accounting, or related fields
   • Experience: 3 years (MA) / 5 years (BA)
   • Competencies: SME financing, gender financing, analytical and communication skills
   • Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Wolkite
4. Credit Analyst
   • Education: MA/BA in Economics, Management, Accounting, or related fields
   • Experience: 3 years (MA) / 5 years (BA)
   • Competencies: Credit risk assessment, financial analysis, compliance knowledge, report preparation

5. Senior Accountant
   • Education: BA in Accounting
   • Experience: 4+ years, including 2+ years in senior accounting roles
   • Competencies: Accounting policies, financial planning, Microsoft Office proficiency
