Aggar Microfinance S.C (Aggar MFI) is Ethiopia’s first commercial private microfinance institution, established under Proclamation No. 40/96 (now replaced by Proclamation No. 626/2009). Aggar MFI provides credit and savings services to the “missing middle” across both urban and rural areas.

We are currently seeking qualified professionals for the following positions:


Position 1: Branch Cashier

Location: Addis Ababa
Employment Type: Full-time
Qualifications: BA/College Diploma in Accounting, Management, or related fields
Experience: 0–2 years
Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash and payment instruments safely
  • Maintain accounting records
  • Provide courteous customer service
  • Operate office machines and use Microsoft Word & Excel

Position 2: Store Keeper

Location: Head Office, Addis Ababa
Employment Type: Full-time
Qualifications: College Diploma/Certificate in Purchasing & Supplies Management or related fields
Experience: 0–2 years

  • Manage store operations and inventory
  • Follow company purchasing policies
  • Use Microsoft Word & Excel for documentation

  • Prepare audit reports and communicate findings

  • Design and test internal controls
  • Ensure adherence to financial laws and NBE directives
