Position Overview – Programme Officer

The Programme Officer will join the Embassy’s integrated team to manage projects and programmes, ensuring delivery of results and accountability. The role requires strong organizational skills, financial management capabilities, and the ability to work under pressure while engaging with diverse stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Experience managing projects/programmes with a focus on results.
• Proven financial management capabilities.
• Ability to challenge stakeholders and hold them accountable.
• Initiative and ability to manage own workload.
• Experience working under tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility.
• IT proficiency (MS Excel and Word).

Desirable Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in International Development or Humanitarian sector.
• Arabic language skills.
• Prior experience working on or in Sudan.
• Formal Programme Management qualifications (APM PMF, AGILE, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
