Through its L4R Project in Bilate Zuria, Sidama Region, CARE is offering female‑only internship opportunities designed to empower young graduates, strengthen gender parity, and provide hands‑on experience in community development, WASH, livelihood, and gender programs.
Available Internship Positions
1. Intern – WASH & Natural Resource / Watershed Management
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Water Engineering, Natural Resource Management, Hydrology, Environmental Science, or related fields.
- Female fresh graduate with 0 years of work experience.
- Strong skills in watershed management, climate‑smart agriculture, and forestry.
- Good written and verbal skills in Sidaamu Afoo and English.
2. Intern – Livelihood & Food Security
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, Agricultural Extension, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, or related fields.
- Female fresh graduate with 0 years of work experience.
- Knowledge of natural resource management, agricultural extension, and climate‑smart agriculture.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and data collection skills.
3. Intern – Gender & Economic Strengthening
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Sociology, Gender & Development, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related fields.
- Female fresh graduate with 0 years of work experience.
- Development‑oriented mindset, creativity, and commitment to gender equity.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
