Role Overview
The Chief Surveyor will lead surveying operations, ensure measurement accuracy, and provide technical support throughout project implementation. The role involves managing survey teams, overseeing setting out and inspection procedures, and coordinating with clients and consultants to ensure compliance with technical standards.
Key Responsibilities

Surveying Operations: Lead full‑cycle measurement strategy and on‑site surveying activities.

Data Accuracy: Ensure reliability of surveying data for setting out, inspection, and acceptance.

Team Leadership: Supervise survey teams, establish workflows, and implement quality control systems.

Technical Guidance: Mentor junior staff and provide training on surveying standards.

Equipment Management: Oversee calibration, maintenance, and utilization of instruments (Total Station, GPS, levels).

Coordination: Work closely with clients, consultants, and supervision teams on measurement activities.

Reporting: Manage data processing, analysis, and preparation of final reports.
Qualifications
- BSc Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in surveying and measurement works.
- At least 6 years in a Chief Surveyor or similar leadership role.
- Extensive experience in large‑scale civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in modern surveying equipment and software.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent technical writing and reporting ability in English.
