About the Position

The Chemistry Teacher / Video Instructor will develop educational content and deliver engaging chemistry lessons for students in Grades 9–12. The role involves preparing lesson plans, explaining complex chemistry concepts, creating learning materials, and recording video lessons in collaboration with the media production team.

Educational Qualifications

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following fields:

• Chemistry
• Chemical Education
• Chemical Engineering
• A related science field

Work Experience

• Experience teaching, tutoring, or lecturing in chemistry.
• Experience teaching high school chemistry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan chemistry lessons and design curricula for Grades 9–12 and General Chemistry.
• Break down complex chemistry concepts into clear, understandable explanations.
• Develop learning materials, practice problems, and assessments.
• Deliver engaging chemistry lessons on camera.
• Collaborate with the media production team to produce educational videos.
• Review and re-record lessons when necessary to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Coordinate with academic coordinators, content producers, and assistant managers.
• Improve lesson delivery and content based on student engagement metrics and feedback.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of chemistry and its teaching methods.
• Confidence and professionalism when presenting on camera.
• Good verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet lesson preparation and recording deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with academic and media production teams.
