Key Responsibilities
The Finance & Grants Officer will:

Budget & Cash Flow: Manage project budgets, cash‑flow forecasts, and monthly cash analyses.

Compliance & Oversight: Ensure expenditures align with donor/organizational requirements; verify documentation accuracy.

Reporting: Prepare and submit donor financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).

Audit & Regulations: Serve as focal point for audits; ensure compliance with 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance).

Partner Monitoring: Oversee financial performance of partner organizations and subrecipients.

Closeout: Lead project closeout activities, reconciliations, and final reporting.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in U.S. Government grants management (USAID, U.S. Department of State, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of 2 CFR 200 and Single Audit requirements.
- Experience managing budgets of $5M+ annually or complex multi‑year programs.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, financial modeling, dashboards).
- Ability to analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income, cash‑flow, general ledger).
- Preferred certifications: CPA, ACCA, CMA, CGFM, CGMS or equivalent.
