Role Purpose
The Logistics Support Intern will assist the procurement team with clerical duties while gaining practical experience in NGO/humanitarian logistics. The role provides exposure to procurement processes, data management, and administrative support in a dynamic humanitarian environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support data entry for procurement and transport departments.
- Assist with filing and documentation for procurement and transport.
- Track service requests (SR) and maintain records.
- Scan and archive purchase documents.
- Provide support to procurement officers as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: College diploma in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- Experience: Internship level (no prior experience required).
- Skills:
- Competent computer user (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Fair spoken and written English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
