Job Title: Customs Assessor
Organization: Saba International Shipping
Location: Edna mall area, Bole, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit customs declarations through the system of Ethiopian Customs Commission.
- Verify shipping documents including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Bill of Lading.
- Classify goods using the correct HS Code and ensure accurate valuation.
- Coordinate with customs officials for smooth clearance of shipments.
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian customs regulations and procedures.
- Follow up on shipments from arrival until final clearance and delivery.
- Resolve customs queries and documentation discrepancies.
