The International Institute for Primary Health Care – Ethiopia (IPHC-E), affiliated with the Ethiopian Ministry of Health (MOH) and supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, provides technical assistance to strengthen Primary Health Care (PHC) systems. IPHC-E delivers evidence-based policy guidance, capacity building, innovation labs, and implementation support to improve PHC and achieve Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in Ethiopia.
The project, “Technical Assistance to the Establishment of Model Woredas for Seqota Declaration in Ethiopia”, is a partnership between MOH, IPHC-E, and Big Win Philanthropy. Its goal is to accelerate the reduction of childhood stunting by establishing replicable model woredas that integrate Community Labs, Growth Monitoring, and Yelemat Turufat interventions.
IPHC-E seeks Data Collectors to conduct a Rapid Assessment in 35 woredas across Oromia (21 woredas), Sidama (4 woredas), and Central Ethiopia (10 woredas). The assessment will involve quantitative and qualitative data collection at kebele, woreda, and regional levels. Findings will inform project interventions and performance tracking.
