Job Overview

The position is suitable for an entry-level or fresh graduate candidate with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and strong communication skills in English, Amharic, and Afaan Oromo.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Support
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries professionally.
- Provide accurate information about the institution's financial products and services.
- Resolve customer complaints or escalate complex issues to the appropriate department.
Data Management and Reporting
- Update customer information in the system after each call.
- Document customer feedback and report recurring issues to management.
- Prepare daily call reports and collection updates.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Follow call scripts, internal policies, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling customer information.
- Follow appropriate escalation procedures for unresolved issues.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with collections and customer service teams to support smooth operations.
- Participate in training and performance improvement programs.
- Provide insights that can help improve customer engagement and collections effectiveness.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of prior experience in a call center, customer service, or help desk role is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of financial services, microfinance products, or customer care principles.
- Proficiency in English, Amharic, and Afaan Oromo, both verbal and written.
