About the DigiTriage Project
In collaboration with KNCV TB Plus Global Office, KNCV Ethiopia is implementing the DigiTriage Project – an innovative study evaluating an AI-powered digital solution that interprets and reports results of the VISITECT Advanced CD4 Assay. The tool, based on Telegram, supports accurate interpretation of HIV point-of-care tests and aims to strengthen Ethiopia’s healthcare delivery.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Digital Health Consultant who will provide technical expertise, training, and support for the DigiTriage tool. The consultant will work closely with project teams and clinic users to ensure successful tool implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) in collaboration with the project team.

Train and support clinic-based users on the DigiTriage Telegram tool.

Conduct site visits to monitor tool usage and provide technical support.

Ensure accurate photo capture and upload of HIV test results.

Respond to technical inquiries from users and provide timely troubleshooting.

Support digital workflow adherence and assist with data collection.

Collaborate with the global project team on tool refinements and AI improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education & Experience
-
Advanced degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, ICT for Development, or related field.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in digital health implementation.

Experience training and supporting non-expert end-users in healthcare settings.

Proven knowledge of data governance, cybersecurity, and digital privacy principles.
-
Familiarity with app-based solutions such as chatbots or Telegram channels.
-
Previous work with NGOs, health ministries, or development partners is an advantage.

Preferably with experience in HIV, TB, or health-related projects.
Skills & Competencies

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Proficient in computer systems, digital tools, and IT troubleshooting.

Fluency in English (spoken and written).
