💼 Job Overview – Area Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our Commercial – Sales & Marketing team. The role reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is accountable for driving volume and revenue growth by leading and managing a high-performing sales team across designated regions in Ethiopia.

🧾 Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales volume and market share growth within the assigned area
• Coach, lead, and develop a team of sales representatives
• Manage resource allocation including POS materials and coolers
• Execute trade and outlet-level strategies to enhance merchandising and product visibility
• Implement and monitor promotional plans, ensuring compliance
• Partner with customers to develop tailored business plans
• Track competitor activities and adjust market approach
• Ensure quality standards and trade replacements are managed effectively
• Maintain and report on daily sales performance metrics

🎓 Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management, Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Sales & Marketing, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Valid minimum Auto/Dry 1 driving license
• Demonstrated experience in sales operations and team leadership
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
