About the Role
Ethiopian Engineering Corporation is seeking Junior Engineers across multiple disciplines, including:
- Junior Planning Engineer
- Junior Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer
- Junior Procurement Engineer
- Junior Risk Engineer
- Junior Quantity Surveyor (QS)
- Junior Cost Control Engineer
- Junior Electrical Engineer
- Junior Sanitary Engineer
- Data Capturer
This role supports on-site engineering activities, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, statutory approvals, and company QA/QC policies. Junior Engineers will assist in documentation, material submittals, risk assessments, procurement schedules, and reporting to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to contract specifications during construction and handover phases.
- Maintain registers for material submittals and consultant requirements.
- Implement QA/QC and HSE procedures, including risk assessments and compliance statements.
- Support procurement schedules and track delivery timelines.
- Disseminate contractual documents and drawings to site teams.
- Record scope changes and forward them to the Commercial Team.
- Manage drawing control and maintain weekly records of updates.
- Conduct material take-offs and confirm compliance requirements.
- Report project team efficiencies, delays, and constraints weekly.
- Ensure testing, commissioning, spares, warranties, and defect liability requirements are met.
Qualifications
- Education: BSc in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Fresh graduates (0 years of experience).
- Bright talents with strong potential and passion for site work.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn.
