Elon Academy is inviting qualified education and administrative professionals to apply for multiple job opportunities in Addis Ababa. The vacancies include High School and Primary School Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and a Unit Leader.

The teaching positions are available at the Addisu Gebeya and Winget branches, while the Unit Leader position is based in Haya Hulet.

Available Positions

1. High School & Primary School Teachers

Branches: Addisu Gebeya and Winget

Elon Academy is seeking teachers for the following subjects:

  1. English
  2. Amharic
  3. Afaan Oromo
  4. Mathematics
  5. Citizenship / Social Studies / CTE
  6. Environmental Science (E.S) / Moral Education
  7. IT
  8. History
  9. Geography
  10. Self-Contained

Educational Qualification:

  • B.Ed, M.Sc, or M.A. degree.
  • The academic qualification must be strictly relevant to the subject being taught.

Experience:

  • Mid- to senior-level teaching experience.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Modern pedagogical expertise.
  • Commitment to student-centered learning methodologies.

2. Assistant Teachers

Branches: Addisu Gebeya and Winget

Educational Qualification:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), or a related academic field.

Experience:

  • Prior experience supporting primary, early childhood, or general classroom environments is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Instructional support skills.
  • Patience and effective communication.
  • Classroom management assistance skills.

3. Unit Leader

Location: Haya Hulet

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BSc) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of Ethiopian financial regulations and reporting principles.

Employment Terms and Conditions

According to the vacancy announcement, structural payroll operations, employment contracts, disciplinary procedures, and leave policies are administered in accordance with Ethiopian Labour Proclamation No. 1156/2019.
