Empathy for Life Integrated Development Association (ELiDA) is a women-led, women’s rights, non-profit, board-led Indigenous National Civil Society Organization (CSO). ELiDA works to address multidimensional social, economic, and political challenges in Ethiopia, with a strong commitment to empowering women and girls.
Our programs focus on:
- Promoting girls’ education
- Raising awareness on prevention of early marriage
- Combating female genital mutilation (FGM) and harmful traditional practices (HTPs)
ELiDA is now inviting fresh graduates to apply for an internship opportunity to support its projects and programs.
đź“Ś Position: Intern
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Law, Political Science, Public Relations, Psychology, Journalism, or other social science fields
- Graduated in 2024 or 2025 with a GPA of 3.5 or above
Desired Skills
- Strong analytical, communication, and research skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English and Amharic
- Knowledge of other local languages is an asset
- Professional conduct and integrity in handling organizational assets
đź“‹ Key Responsibilities
- Support program and outreach activities
- Assist advocacy team with photography, videography, and graphic design (Adobe Photoshop)
- Prepare records and reports
- Support fundraising and resource mobilization efforts
- Create and document content for social media
- Manage and engage on social media platforms
- Assist in event organization (workshops, meetings, conferences)
- Perform other duties as assigned
