Key Responsibilities

The Datacenter Attendant will be responsible for supporting the availability and proper functioning of the bank's data center infrastructure. Key duties include:

• Ensuring 24/7 data center availability, including holiday and vacation coverage.
• Monitoring communication equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Checking power systems, including Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) equipment.
• Ensuring backup generators operate properly and have adequate fuel.
• Coordinating the safe shutdown of servers and communication equipment, with supervisor approval, when air-conditioning, power, or backup generator systems malfunction.
• Supporting emergency procedures when equipment must be shut down safely.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.
