Position 1: Senior Finance Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Review financial transactions for accuracy, authorization, and compliance.
- Assist in regulatory reporting to the National Bank of Ethiopia and other authorities.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports, statements, and reconciliations.
- Support external audit processes and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Mentor and guide junior finance staff.
- Lead preparation of consolidated financial reports for management and regulators.
- Ensure compliance with tax, pension, and labor law requirements.
- Manage payroll and benefits to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Authorize daily financial transactions and advance payments.
- Monitor and control risks related to mismatches, delays, and errors.
Qualification & Experience
- MBA/MA in Economics, Accounting, Management, Business Administration, or related fields with 3.5 years of experience.
- OR BA in the same fields with 5.5 years of experience in relevant areas, preferably in the banking industry.
- At least 2 years in a relevant officer position.
Duty Station
Position 2: Senior Customer Service Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Cash Administrator and Branch Account Administrator in case of absence.
- Support Customer Service Specialists in handling bulk cash deposits/withdrawals.
- Initiate cash transfers and manage physical cash transactions.
- Collect and pay cash, debit/credit respective accounts.
- Check and balance physical cash with the Cash Administrator.
Qualification & Experience
- BA in Accounting & Finance, Banking & Finance, Management, Business Management, Economics, Marketing Management, or related fields.
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in banking operations, including at least 6 months in a Customer Service Specialist role.
