EngenderHealth seeks a qualified Driver & Liaison Officer for its Integrated RMNCH+PPFP scale‑up project in Worabe, Central Ethiopia.
Job Summary
The Driver & Liaison Officer (DLO) will:
- Drive and maintain organizational vehicles.
- Perform liaison duties including settlement of cash payments, utility bills, and delivery of project documents.
- Support distribution of medical supplies and equipment.
- Assist with customs clearance, procurement, and administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety, maintenance, and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate assigned vehicles, ensuring compliance with traffic rules and organizational policies.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform minor repairs, and oversee scheduled servicing.
- Record official trips and maintain log sheets.
- Ensure vehicles are equipped with safety tools and first aid kits.
- Distribute letters, packages, and project documents.
- Assist with utility bill settlements and event payments.
- Support procurement of office supplies and training materials.
- Document events (photos, videos) as required.
- Perform other liaison duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Secondary school completion plus a Diploma in Automotive Technology from a recognized institution.
- Valid driving license.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a driver and liaison officer, preferably with NGOs.
- Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Fluency in English and Amharic; knowledge of local language in Worabe is desirable.
