EngenderHealth seeks a qualified Driver & Liaison Officer for its Integrated RMNCH+PPFP scale‑up project in Worabe, Central Ethiopia.


Job Summary

The Driver & Liaison Officer (DLO) will:

  • Drive and maintain organizational vehicles.
  • Perform liaison duties including settlement of cash payments, utility bills, and delivery of project documents.
  • Support distribution of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with customs clearance, procurement, and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, maintenance, and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate assigned vehicles, ensuring compliance with traffic rules and organizational policies.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform minor repairs, and oversee scheduled servicing.
  • Record official trips and maintain log sheets.
  • Ensure vehicles are equipped with safety tools and first aid kits.
  • Distribute letters, packages, and project documents.
  • Assist with utility bill settlements and event payments.
  • Support procurement of office supplies and training materials.
  • Document events (photos, videos) as required.
  • Perform other liaison duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Secondary school completion plus a Diploma in Automotive Technology from a recognized institution.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a driver and liaison officer, preferably with NGOs.
  • Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Fluency in English and Amharic; knowledge of local language in Worabe is desirable.
