Job Summary
Ethio Cement PLC, a joint venture between Ethiopian entrepreneur Mr. Endale Yirga and Mr. Motaparti Siva Ramavara Prasad of WACEM Group (West Africa), is inviting qualified and motivated candidates to apply for accounting positions at its Head Office in Addis Ababa.
Available Positions
- Accountant
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- Experience: 1–3+ years of professional accounting experience (manufacturing sector preferred)
- Key Duties:
- Manage month-end closes and reconcile complex accounts
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements)
- Analyze variances and ensure regulatory compliance
- Assist with audits and mentor junior staff
- Optimize accounting processes to support management decision-making
- Location: Head Office, Addis Ababa
- Senior Accountant
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- Experience: 3–5+ years of professional accounting experience (manufacturing sector preferred)
- Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel, proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Tally ERP)
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, effective communication skills
- Location: Head Office, Piazza, Addis Ababa
