The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, providing assistance to refugees, displaced persons, and vulnerable communities across the globe. DRC Ethiopia is seeking a motivated Finance Intern to join our Country Office in Addis Ababa.
Job Summary
The Finance Intern will support the Finance Department in ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations. This role offers practical experience in accounting and finance while contributing to DRC’s mission in Ethiopia.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with cash handling and payments
- Supporting banking transactions and reconciliations
- Maintaining proper filing and documentation of financial records
- Ensuring compliance with DRC financial policies and procedures
Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
- BA Degree or Diploma in Accounting and Finance
Experience:
- Fresh graduate (no prior work experience required)
Languages:
- Fluency in Amharic
- Good command of English
