Ethiopian Airlines Group has announced a vacancy for Manager – Group Fuel Procurement & Management. The position requires relevant academic qualifications and extensive professional experience in areas such as aviation fuel procurement, petroleum or fuel supply, contract management, and fuel or petroleum operations.

Manager – Group Fuel Procurement & Management

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following educational and experience requirements:

Option 1: Bachelor's Degree

  • BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Accounting Information System, Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, Petroleum, Energy Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 9 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor, or equivalent capacity.
  • Relevant experience should include areas such as:
    • Aviation fuel procurement
    • Petroleum or fuel supply
    • Contract management
    • Aviation fuel operations
    • Petroleum operations
    • Related areas

Option 2: Master's Degree

  • MA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Accounting Information System, Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, Petroleum, Energy Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor, or equivalent capacity.
  • Relevant experience should include aviation fuel procurement, petroleum or fuel supply, contract management, aviation fuel or petroleum operations, or related areas.

Advantageous Experience

Experience in the following areas is considered an advantage:

  • Aviation fuel
  • Petroleum or energy procurement
  • Commodity trading
  • Contract negotiation
  • Supplier management
  • Physical fuel logistics

Language Requirement

  • Knowledge of English, the working language of Ethiopian Airlines, is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of other foreign languages is desirable.
