About Ethiopian Diabetes Association (EDA)

The Ethiopian Diabetes Association (EDA), established on January 23, 1984 G.C (1976 E.C), is the first patient‑based association in Ethiopia. Its mission is to provide a forum for diabetes patients to discuss prevention, share information, and access treatment.

EDA is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:


Available Positions

1. Junior Accountant

Education

  • B.Sc. Degree in Accounting and Finance

Experience

  • 2–4 years as a Junior Accountant

Languages

  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Amharic

Additional Training

  • Computer training certificate (excellent computer usage and Peachtree software)
  • IPSAS training certificate (advantage)

Competencies / Technical Skills

  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Strong planning and prioritizing skills

Education

  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Amharic

  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
