Position Overview
The Tender & Estimation Coordinator (Quantity Surveyor Coordinator) is responsible for evaluating project costs, preparing competitive tenders, and ensuring accurate quantity take‑offs for building construction projects. This senior role requires precision, strategic thinking, and strong knowledge of market rates, construction methodologies, and contract conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for building projects
- Conduct quantity take‑offs from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings using digital tools
- Analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings to identify scope, risks, and opportunities
- Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams for accurate pricing and technical inputs
- Benchmark costs against historical data and current market trends
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) in line with standard measurement methods
- Review subcontractor and supplier quotations for completeness and competitiveness
- Participate in tender clarification meetings and value engineering exercises
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, tender instructions, and internal governance
- Support post‑tender negotiations and handover to execution teams
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: BSc in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology & Management

Experience: Minimum 5 years in building construction companies, including 1 year in a senior role

Additional: Experience with international companies is an advantage

Skills: Strong communication, analytical ability, and knowledge of construction contracts
