About Ethiopian Reinsurance S.C.

Ethiopian Reinsurance S.C. (Ethiopian Re) is the first reinsurance company in Ethiopia, incorporated under Article 5(8) of the Insurance Business Proclamation No. 746/2012. The company began operations on July 1, 2016, transacting both life and non-life reinsurance businesses.

With a strong capital base and retrocession protection from globally renowned reinsurance companies, Ethiopian Re provides comprehensive inward reinsurance cover to domestic insurers and selectively accepts international business. Its head office is located in Addis Ababa, with plans to expand regionally.

Position: IT Auditor

Minimum Qualification

• BA/BSc in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of directly related experience in (Re)insurance.
• Strong IT audit background is mandatory.

Skills & Competencies

• Expertise in IT auditing methodologies.
• Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance operations.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT audit tools.

Duty Station: Addis Ababa
