About ESX
The Ethiopian Securities Exchange (ESX) is Ethiopia’s first and only organized securities exchange, established as a public‑private partnership under Article 31 of the Capital Market Proclamation (No.1248/2021). ESX operates as a Self‑Regulatory Organization (SRO) and serves as the central market organizer, offering integrated products across equities, fixed income, and money market segments.
Position: Customer Support Intern
Qualifications:
- BSc Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Marketing, Journalism, or related fields
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support: Respond to phone calls from investors, issuers, market participants, and the public regarding ESX services
- Provide clear information on ESX services, investor registration, and accessing ESX digital platforms (including the Neway ESX App)
- Guide users step‑by‑step in navigating ESX Academy and digital services
- Issue Identification: Document user‑reported issues and escalate unresolved problems to relevant ESX teams
- User Guidance: Assist with troubleshooting login difficulties, password resets, and navigation challenges on ESX platforms
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of inquiries, issues, and resolutions; prepare daily/weekly summaries of recurring challenges
- User Experience Feedback: Provide feedback to ESX teams on usability concerns and recurring user challenges
