Job Description

The Junior Accountant will support accounting and financial operations, including transaction recording, financial documentation, and related accounting procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field from a recognized university.
• Zero to two years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Peachtree, including recording and posting transactions.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Good communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations is an advantage.

2. Senior Accountant

• Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
• Employment Type: Permanent
• Required Experience: At least 6 years of relevant work experience

Job Description

The Senior Accountant will support financial management and reporting activities, including cost accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, financial planning, and tax compliance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized university.
• At least six years of relevant work experience.
• At least four years of experience in a managerial position.
• Experience in an import and export company is preferred.
• Experience in cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
• Knowledge of tax compliance and Ethiopian financial regulations.
• Strong practical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
