Open Positions

Position 1: Finance Officer

  • Employment Type: Full‑time
  • Job Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Responsibilities

  • Develop proposal budgets and annual operational budgets for projects and country office
  • Prepare monthly project cashflow requests
  • Produce accurate donor financial reports and internal budget‑to‑actual reports
  • Review expenditures for compliance and proper coding
  • Support project managers with expenditure management and variance resolution
  • Act as focal point for donor audits and participate in internal/external audits
  • Maintain donor records for audit readiness
  • Provide guidance on financial policies, procedures, and expense reporting

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Work Experience: Minimum 6 years in financial and project management, with complex budgets
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of sub‑grant management systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Soft Skills: Analytical problem‑solving, interpersonal relationship‑building, ability to work independently
