The bank provides investment banking services including share registration, capital raising, underwriting, IPO readiness advisory, and mergers and acquisitions advisory to businesses, government institutions, and investors.

Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in:
- Accounting and Finance
- Economics
- Business Administration
- Or a related field
Experience
-
3–5 years of relevant work experience.
- CISI Level 3 Certification is required.
- Practical experience in the capital market sector and securities trading is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with Brokerage Back Office (BBO), Automatic Trading System (ATS), and the Central Securities Depository (CSD) is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, validate, and execute client buy and sell orders for listed securities.
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian Securities Exchange (ESX) rules and Ethiopian Capital Market Authority (ECMA) regulations.
- Perform pre-trade verification of client funds, securities availability, and trading mandates.
- Monitor transactions for compliance with applicable capital market regulations and report suspicious activities when required.
- Coordinate trade settlement with relevant internal teams and the Central Securities Depository.
- Support client onboarding in accordance with KYC and AML requirements.
- Maintain accurate trading records, confirmations, and regulatory reports.
- Reconcile client transactions and positions regularly.
- Stay informed about updates to ESX rules and ECMA directives.
