Available Positions

1. HVAC Technician – Mechanical Background

Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience as an HVAC Technician.
  • Strong mechanical engineering background.
  • Experience installing, maintaining, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems.
  • Experience with split AC units, package units, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, pumps, fans, and ventilation systems.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical/HVAC drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment and systems.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on air-conditioning and ventilation systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related HVAC faults.
  • Service split AC units, package units, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, pumps, fans, and ventilation systems.
  • Diagnose faults and determine appropriate repair solutions.
  • Perform refrigerant charging and recovery, leak detection, and pressure testing.
  • Read and interpret HVAC drawings, manuals, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and monitor operational performance.
  • Perform ductwork, piping, insulation, and mechanical installation activities.
  • Recommend repairs or equipment replacement when necessary.
  • Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and inspection checklists.
  • Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, contractors, and other technicians at project sites.

2. Senior Accountant

Number of Positions: 1

Experience

  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with a strong accounting focus.
  • A Master’s degree, such as an MBA or MSc in Accounting/Finance, is advantageous but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting activities and ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to local requirements.
  • Lead and maintain the Peachtree (Sage 50) accounting system.
  • Customize charts of accounts, modules, and reporting structures for construction and engineering requirements.
  • Manage tax, revenue, and customs compliance activities.
  • Prepare and submit income tax, VAT, and withholding tax returns in accordance with Ethiopian Revenue & Customs Authority (ERCA) requirements.
  • Coordinate with ERCA and Customs regarding audits, clarifications, and compliance matters.
  • Assess changes in tax and customs regulations and apply them to business operations.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Provide documentation, supporting schedules, and explanations during financial reviews.
  • Follow up on audit recommendations and strengthen finance processes.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and financial status reports for management.
  • Organize and monitor payments and collections.
  • Develop a financial management framework.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to supervise finance personnel, allocate tasks, review performance, and coach staff.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy, accountability, and confidentiality.
  • Understanding of BOQs, variation orders, retention money, contract accounting, and revenue recognition.
  • Understanding of subcontractor payments and certifications.
  • Experience providing financial support to project managers and engineers.
  • Knowledge and experience in Tax Administration.
  • Proficiency in GAAP and IFRS.
  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws, regulations, and tax documentation.
  • Understanding of LC settlements, customs duties, bonded warehouse duty deferrals, and foreign exchange transactions.

3. Mechanical & Office Engineer

Experience

  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience in mechanical engineering and project/office coordination.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise mechanical engineering activities for construction and engineering projects.
  • Review mechanical drawings, specifications, technical documents, and equipment schedules.
  • Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems as required.
  • Prepare technical reports, material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project schedules, progress, materials, manpower, and site activities.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
  • Support material selection, procurement, technical evaluations, and supplier coordination.
  • Maintain records of drawings, contracts, correspondence, reports, and technical documents.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Support management with planning, administration, and coordination activities.
  • Attend project meetings and prepare minutes and action-point follow-ups.
  • Support cost control, quantity verification, material tracking, and project planning.
  • Manage office correspondence, document control, filing, and reporting systems.
  • Identify technical and operational issues and coordinate solutions.
  • Carry out other engineering and office coordination duties assigned by management.

Additional Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical building services and construction activities.

  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.

Qualification

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate the company’s general accounting, costing, budgeting, and related financial functions.
  • Establish, operate, monitor, and evaluate accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
  • Prepare financial reports and cost analyses for management decision-making.
  • Oversee accounting records, costing, budgeting, and expenditure-control systems.
  • Advise management on financial operations, budget utilization, and cost-control measures.
  • Report to the General Manager on budgeting, accounting, costing, and financial performance.
  • Maintain sufficient cash flow to meet financial obligations and commitments.
  • Ensure financial statements and management information reports are prepared and submitted on time.
  • Supervise annual budget preparation and monitor performance against approved budgets, including variance reporting.
  • Lead the accounting team and ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
  • Approve cheques, disbursements, and other financial documents within delegated authority.
  • Coordinate regular external audits of the company’s financial operations.
  • Ensure appropriate drafting, negotiation, and management of contracts with clients and vendors.
  • Prepare and manage the Finance Department’s annual budget.
  • Provide financial information and support to the Human Capital Department when required.
  • Supervise, guide, and develop Finance Department personnel.
