Gift Real Estate PLC is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early‑career professionals with 0–1 years of experience. The Junior Accountant will support day‑to‑day accounting tasks, maintain financial records, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Position: Junior Accountant
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
- Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts under senior accountant guidance.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial tracking and reporting.
Qualifications & Skills
- BA in Accounting & Finance or related fields.
- 0–1 years of relevant work experience (fresh graduates encouraged).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail in financial data entry and reporting.
- Knowledge of risk management principles in finance.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks for accounting and bookkeeping.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and problem‑solving ability.
