Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation of dryland agriculture and watershed management activities.
- Advise communities on sustainable farming and soil conservation practices.
- Assist with project planning, data collection, and technical reporting.
- Support Watershed User Cooperatives (WUCs) and community planning.
- Deliver training on soil moisture management, crop selection, and farming systems.
- Collaborate with project partners to promote soil health and agroecological practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Dryland Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Rural Development, or a related field.
Experience
- Fresh graduates or applicants with up to one year of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of participatory training methods is preferred.
- Familiarity with dryland farming, flood-based agriculture, or soil and water conservation is an advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- High integrity, accountability, and motivation.
- Willingness to travel regularly to regional project areas.
- Very good English and Afarigna or Somaligna communication skills (mandatory).
