About Global Insurance Company S.C.
Global Insurance Company S.C. (GIC) is a private insurance company established in March 1997 by 23 founding shareholders, with an initial paid-up capital of Birr 3.75 million.
The company has grown to a paid-up capital of Birr 150.6 million and an authorized capital of Birr 250 million. As of June 2020, it had 176 shareholders and total assets exceeding Birr 413 million.
GIC provides general insurance services through 21 branches and one contact office across Ethiopia. Its head office is located at Somale Tera, Addis Ababa.

1. Auditor II
Education:
- BA Degree in Accounting or a related field.
Experience:
- 2 years of relevant work experience.
Required Skills:
- Computer skills.
2. Legal Officer
Education:
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
Experience:
- 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
Required Skills:
- Computer skills.
3. Auditor III
Education:
- BA Degree in Accounting or a related field.
Experience:
- 3 years of relevant work experience.
Required Skills:
- Computer skills.
4. Senior Accountant
Education:
- BA Degree in Accounting.
Experience:
- 4 years of relevant work experience.
Required Skills:
- Computer skills.
5. Deputy Chief Executive Officer – Operations
Education:
- Minimum of a First Degree from a recognized higher institution.
- A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) is preferable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- At least 4 years of managerial experience in one or more core areas of general insurance operations.
Technical Skills:
- Computer skills.
