Global Insurance Company (S.C.) was established in March 1997 by 23 founding shareholders with a paid-up capital of Birr 3.75 million. The company began operations with fewer than 25 employees and has now grown to a workforce of 224 employees. In addition to its core business of general insurance, Global Insurance also provides modern vehicle inspection services.
Open Positions
1. Junior Secretary/Cashier
- Education: Diploma in Accounting or Secretarial Science & Office Management (SSOM)
- Experience: Not required (fresh graduates encouraged)
- Location: Addis Ababa
- Salary & Benefits: According to company scale and benefit package
2. Branch Manager I
- Education: BA/BSc in Management, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields
- Experience: Minimum 4 years as Senior Underwriting Officer or 1 year as Branch Manager
- Location: Addis Ababa
- Salary & Benefits: According to company scale and benefit package
3. Finance and Investment Department Manager
- Education: BA in Accounting
- Experience: Minimum 10 years, including 3 years in a managerial position
- Additional Skills: Insurance accounting and IFRS reporting knowledge required
- Location: Addis Ababa
- Salary & Benefits: According to company scale and benefit package
