About Goh Betoch Bank

Goh Betoch Bank S.C is Ethiopia’s first private mortgage bank, officially opened on October 25 as the 21st bank in the country. Founded by 11 visionary individuals—veteran bankers, investors, and academicians—the bank was established to address Ethiopia’s housing backlog, rising construction costs, inflation, and limited housing finance schemes.

Open Positions

1. Customer Service Officer III

• Education: BA in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or related fields
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in banking operations
• Location: Modjo, Kombolcha, Dessie Branches

2. Senior Procurement Officer

• Education: BA in Economics, Accounting, Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance & Accounting, or related fields
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in procurement or related fields
• Location: Head Office

3. Branch Manager

• Education: BA in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or related fields
• Experience: Minimum 8 years in banking operations
• Location: Modjo, Kombolcha, Dessie Branches

4. Chief Operations Officer

• Education: BA in Management, Accounting, Finance & Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
• Experience: Minimum 12 years in banking/finance, including at least 4 years as Department Director or equivalent
• Additional Requirements:
  • Extensive exposure to branch operations, credit, and trade finance
  • Strong leadership, business acumen, and communication skills
• Location: Head Office
