Position: General Service / Protocol‑Consular Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain files, records, and documents
  • Facilitate protocol‑consular requirements for Embassy officials
  • Liaise with Ethiopian government offices for processing IDs, driving licenses, permits, etc.
  • Provide oral and written communication support in English (Indonesian language skills highly desirable)
  • Drive and navigate effectively within Addis Ababa for official duties
  • Support additional administrative tasks and Embassy functions as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Law, Political Science, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of similar service in international organizations, government institutions, or embassies (advantageous)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
  • Age requirement: 21–35 years

Skills Required

  • Strong organizational and record‑keeping skills
  • Excellent communication and social skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and proactively
  • English fluency (Indonesian language proficiency is a plus)
