Position: Graduate Trainee – Market Linkages

Role Purpose

The Graduate Trainee will identify and connect Inkomoko clients with local business opportunities, build long‑term relationships with buyers, and support market linkage initiatives. This is a field‑based role requiring strong interpersonal skills, sales orientation, and the ability to spot opportunities quickly.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and link clients with local business opportunities (hotels, restaurants, schools, small processors, etc.).
• Build long‑term business relationships with micro and small buyers.
• Work with Business Development and Investment teams to identify clients with market linkage potential.
• Share and support clients in applying for tender opportunities.
• Contribute to digital solutions for B2B and B2C linkages.
• Collaborate on trade fairs, promotional events, and product development initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Highly energetic and field‑oriented.
• Sales‑driven with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Opportunistic and quick to identify opportunities.
• Self‑starter, able to learn on the fly.
• Proficiency in local languages is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable using technology to achieve outcomes.
