About Humedica e.V.
Humedica e.V. is a German-based international NGO that has been active in Ethiopia since 2010. The organization was re-registered as a foreign charity on July 8, 2019 (Registry No. 1605). The Country Office in Ethiopia is currently seeking a motivated Intern (Accountant) to support the finance department.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the finance team with scanning and uploading documents to the cloud platform.

Support filing and archiving of both physical and electronic financial records.

Organize vouchers and maintain financial documentation.

Assist in accounting entries and preparation of financial reports.
-
Support month-end closing, account reconciliations, and invoice processing.

Learn and apply accounting software tools and Excel for financial tasks.

Participate in preparation of periodic financial reports.

Support tax filing and assist with accounts payable/receivable processes.

Carry out general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and scheduling.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.

Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
