Job Summary
The People & Culture Associate supports employee administration processes throughout the employment lifecycle, including recruitment, employment, transfers, promotions, terminations, leave management, employee records, and related personnel administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Support employment-related processes for permanent, temporary, and daily employees, including recruitment, contract termination, promotion, and transfer.
- Identify vacant positions and support vacancy-related processes at the location.
- Post vacancies, register applicants, and verify that candidates meet required qualifications before selection or employment.
- Complete documentation and formalities related to employment, transfers, and promotions in accordance with applicable guidelines.
- Ensure employees’ terms and conditions of employment comply with labor law, company guidelines, internal regulations, and the collective labor agreement.
- Process annual, sick, maternity, and other leave requests and verify supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee data and statistics, including information on age, experience, education, and position.
- Follow up on pension identification numbers for eligible employees and support retirement-related formalities.
- Maintain organized, accurate, and accessible personnel files and employee records.
- Prepare accurate daily employee wage calculations based on approved rates and ensure timely payment.
- Perform other tasks and projects assigned by the manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- BA Degree or College Diploma in Management or Public Administration.
- 2/4 years of experience in personnel administration.
Skills and Competencies
- Intermediate English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of the Collective Labor Agreement, internal regulations, and company safety policies.
- Strong record-management and administrative skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle employee information accurately.
2. Building & Utilities Electrician

Job Summary
The Building & Utilities Electrician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems, tobacco curing barns, generators, and utility equipment to support safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations across JTI Leaf locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical distribution systems, control panels, MCCs, motors, generators, ATS units, lighting systems, and other electrical assets.
- Inspect and maintain tobacco curing barns, control panels, RH, WB, DB, temperature sensors, and associated electrical equipment.
- Maintain and update daily maintenance log sheets for curing barns.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore equipment to operation promptly.
- Monitor generator performance and maintain utility equipment, including water pumps, fuel pumps, and HVAC systems.
- Support grading machines, conveyor belts, press machines, and misting systems by resolving electrical issues.
- Conduct shift handovers and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns during assigned on-call duties.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and company EHS standards.
- Report major maintenance activities and equipment failures to supervisors and recommend corrective actions.
- Keep boilers, generators, machinery, equipment, tools, and workplaces clean and orderly.
- Properly handle spare parts, equipment, tools, maintenance materials, and consumables.
- Perform additional duties and projects assigned by the Line Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electricity, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
