📌 Available Positions
1. Country Grants Officer – AGRA Ethiopia
Reference: CGO/AGRA/04/2026
Grade: HG 17
Salary: Birr 150,522/month
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Responsibilities:
- Manage grants portfolio and compliance with donor rules.
- Conduct pre-award due diligence and capacity assessments.
- Maintain grant tracking systems (AMIS).
- Prepare performance reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Build grantee capacity in monitoring, learning, and evaluation.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree with 7 years’ experience OR Bachelor’s with 10 years.
- Strong knowledge of donor agencies (Mastercard Foundation, Rockefeller, Gates).
- Hands-on grants management experience in development organizations.
2. Monitoring & Evaluation Officer – AGRA Ethiopia

Grade: HG 16
Salary: Birr 130,890/month
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate country-level M&E activities and results tracking.
- Support grants award processes with KPIs, milestones, and targets.
- Train staff and grantees on AMIS use and data quality assurance.
- Compile and analyze quarterly program performance reports.
- Facilitate evaluations, special studies, and success story documentation.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree with 5 years’ experience OR Bachelor’s with 8 years.
- Background in Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, or related field.
- Experience in international development or agriculture-related M&E.
- French language ability is an added advantage.
3. Consultancy – Gender Accelerator Impact Assessment Review & Report (ILRI/CGIAR)
Reference: G/2158/2026
Contract Duration: 65 working days (April – September 2026)
Location: Home-based (with potential travel)
Fee: Negotiated based on milestones and deliverables
Responsibilities:
- Review CGIAR impact assessment studies on topics such as climate adaptation, social norms, or digital inclusion.
- Develop Excel databases documenting study characteristics and impact reach.
- Identify methodological strengths, gaps, and evidence needs.
- Draft a comprehensive impact report and contribute a chapter to a larger synthesis.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in development economics, public policy, public health, statistics, agricultural economics, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience with strong performance record.
- Advanced econometrics and causal inference expertise.
- Experience in gender issues in agri-food systems and women’s economic empowerment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
