Position: IT Business Solutions Manager
Reports to: D&IT Director
Employment Type: Full‑time
Duty Station: Head Office, Addis Ababa
Position Purpose
The IT Business Solutions Manager is responsible for defining and delivering the right IT solution strategy for the Market or Cluster, aligned with the Market Annual and Strategic Plan. The role serves as a solution architect, leading the evaluation, design, and implementation of IT solutions that support business transformation and growth.
The incumbent collaborates closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, ensure alignment with strategic priorities, and drive successful delivery of IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage proactively with business stakeholders to understand commercial processes and define solution strategies aligned with Market ASP.
- Serve as an IT solution consultant, mapping technologies and IT services to business plans.
- Evaluate current and future IT solution demands against business priorities and IT capacity.
- Act as subject matter expert for business transformation initiatives, defining required technology solutions and assessing business impact.
- Ensure timely processing and approval of IT change requests.
- Define resource plans and collaborate with IT Cluster Lead to secure qualified project resources.
- Work with process owners to scope, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Ensure proper analysis and documentation of data flows and migration requirements.
- Enforce adherence to data‑related risk management policies.
- Lead evaluation, selection, design, and delivery of scalable and cost‑effective IT solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external experts to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Drive rollout of global IT solutions as required.
- Review supplier performance evaluations to support contract reviews and negotiations.
Who We Are Looking For

Education: University Degree in Computer Science, Technical Science, or related IT fields.

Experience: Minimum 8 years in IT roles, preferably in global environments.
- Experience working across diverse cultures and business practices.
- FMCG industry experience is an added advantage.

Language: Advanced English proficiency (verbal & written).
