Job Summary
The Junior Occupational Therapist will work under the supervision of a senior occupational therapist to provide rehabilitation services to children with severe and multiple disabilities, including children with autism and physical disabilities.
The role involves assessing children's needs, supporting intervention planning, and providing direct therapeutic assistance. The successful candidate will also collaborate with families, caregivers, and community-based teams to promote functional independence, social inclusion, and improved quality of life for beneficiaries.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
Work Experience
- 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
- Fresh graduates with strong academic performance may also be considered.
Technical and Professional Requirements
- Basic knowledge of disability, child development, and rehabilitation approaches.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work sensitively with children, families, and caregivers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to conduct home and community visits.
- Computer literacy, particularly in MS Word and Excel, for documentation and reporting.
Desirable Qualifications and Competencies
