Menschen für Menschen Foundation (MfM) is a nongovernmental, nonreligious, and nonpartisan humanitarian organization. The Foundation invites qualified applicants to join its Agro-Technical & Technology College (ATTC) in Harar as Lecturers in Automotive Engineering/Technology.
Job Overview
The Lecturer will deliver automotive-related courses and practical training, prepare instructional materials, evaluate student performance, and participate in curricular and extracurricular activities at the college.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and training sessions in accordance with the college curriculum and course requirements.
- Prepare lesson plans and develop teaching materials that meet the required academic standards.
- Assess and evaluate students’ academic performance using formative and summative evaluation methods.
- Conduct and support practical automotive laboratory activities, including measurements and adjustments.
- Participate in other curricular and extracurricular activities assigned by the college.
- Contribute to the achievement of the Foundation’s educational objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- MSc in Automotive Engineering or Automotive Technology.
- BSc in Automotive Technology, Automotive Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with an Automotive specialization.
- Minimum CGPA of 3.50 at the MSc level and 3.25 at the BSc level.
- MSc thesis result rated good or above.
- At least two years of proven teaching experience at an equivalent higher education institution, such as a college or university.
- Certificates from short-term training programs in the automotive field.
- Good knowledge and practical skills in automotive laboratory work, measurements, and adjustments.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Ability to provide a clearance certificate.
- Good conduct, teamwork skills, and commitment to the Foundation’s objectives.
- Must be free from addiction, as specified in the original vacancy announcement.
Salary and Benefits
- Monthly Salary: ETB 55,000
