The intern will support finance, human resources and administration, procurement and supply chain activities, asset and inventory management, and general office operations while working in accordance with MTI policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Finance Support
- Assist with reviewing payment requests and checking supporting documents, calculations, coding, and approvals.
- Support cash payment processing following the required approvals.
- Assist with maintaining petty cash records and preparing cash replenishment requests.
- Maintain financial transaction records and support monthly reconciliations.
- File and archive finance vouchers and supporting documents.
- Support the preparation and compilation of financial and project reports.
- Assist with collecting timesheets and payroll-related documentation.
- Support statutory payment documentation and filing requirements under supervision.
- Assist with cash flow and budget tracking activities.
Human Resources and Administration
- Support posting job advertisements and filing applications received from candidates.
- Assist in maintaining HR and administrative records, databases, and personnel files.
- Support staff attendance and performance review documentation.
- Follow up with supervisors and managers to collect completed timesheets and other HR documents.
- Assist with organizing meetings, training, and administrative activities.
- Support office management, including procurement and tracking of office supplies.
Logistics and Supply Chain
- Assist with procurement and supply chain activities in accordance with MTI policies and procedures.
- Support supplier communication and documentation.
- Maintain supplier records.
- Assist in tracking vendor contracts and preparing documentation required for vendor payments.
- Help maintain asset and inventory records and update tracking tools.
- Participate in periodic inventory and asset verification activities.
- Support warehouse, transportation, and asset management activities as assigned.
- Assist in developing and updating supplier databases.
General Operations Support
- Support safety and security-related activities as requested by supervisors.
- Assist other departments with finance, administration, logistics, and operational tasks.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor that support learning and program implementation.
- Support safeguarding of program participants and employees in accordance with Medical Teams International policies and its code of conduct.
Education and Eligibility
Applicants should have:
- BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (Accounting), Logistics and Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or another related social science field from a recognized higher education institution.
- Graduation year: 2017 or 2018 E.C.
- Minimum GPA: 3.5 and above.
- Experience: Fresh graduates.

Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of nonprofit accounting.
- Basic knowledge of payroll and voucher payment coordination.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and computerized accounting software such as Sage and Unit4 is desirable.
Skills
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft programs, including Teams.
- Ability to explain financial procedures to non-finance staff.
- Ability to maintain payroll data for monthly payments.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Abilities
- Ability to maintain detailed records accurately.

Work Conditions
The position requires frequent travel to health facilities in remote areas with very basic living conditions.
