Available Job Positions

1. Junior Medical Equipment Service Engineer

Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Required Qualification

• First degree in Biomedical Engineering from a recognized university.

Required Experience

• 0–1 year of relevant experience.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Basic knowledge of medical equipment and instrumentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and electronic circuits.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance, calibration and equipment performance testing.
• Familiarity with medical equipment safety and electrical safety testing.
• Ability to read technical manuals, circuit diagrams and equipment specifications.
• Basic computer skills and accurate maintenance recordkeeping.

2. Medical Equipment Service Engineer

Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Required Qualification

• First degree in Biomedical Engineering from a recognized university.

Required Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in medical equipment installation and maintenance.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of medical equipment and instrumentation.
• Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to install, maintain and repair medical equipment.
• Good communication, problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a technical team.

3. Senior Medical Equipment Service Engineer

Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Required Qualification

• First degree in Biomedical Engineering from a recognized university.

Required Experience

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in medical equipment installation and maintenance.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Advanced technical knowledge of medical equipment.
• Ability to diagnose complex equipment faults independently.
• Strong customer support and technical problem-solving skills.
• Team leadership capabilities.
• Commitment to medical equipment safety, reliability and performance.
• Exposure to in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) medical devices.

4. Medicine and Medical Device Sales Representative

Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Required Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales is preferred.

5. Store Keeper

Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Required Qualification

• First degree from a recognized university or college in Biomedical Engineering or Medical Laboratory Technology.

Required Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical company warehouse and/or medical device store.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Familiarity with pharmaceutical products, medical devices, stock records and warehouse procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and computer-based data entry.
• Knowledge of database and inventory management systems, including ERP software.
• Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse operations.

6. Biomedical Technician

Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Required Qualification

• Level IV qualification or TVET Diploma from a recognized TVET college in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Biomedical Technology, Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.

Required Experience

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Medical equipment repair and maintenance.
• Preventive maintenance and equipment calibration.
• Troubleshooting electronic circuits and electrical faults.
• Maintaining equipment service records.
• Preparing technical reports and documenting maintenance activities.

7. Office Assistant / Secretary

Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Required Qualification

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or college in Business Administration, Management or Secretarial Science.

Required Experience

• For Diploma holders: at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• For first-degree holders: at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience may include Executive Secretary or Receptionist roles.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email and other office applications.
• Office administration and management skills.
• Filing, recordkeeping and appointment scheduling.
• Ability to prepare letters, reports and other office documents.
